About Aviator Watch Restoration
I'm Pete — a retired Naval aviator (CAPT USN, ret.), test pilot, and engineer who found a second calling at the watchmaker's bench. What started as a curiosity became a passion: carefully bringing 100-year-old American pocket watch movements back to life. I work on one watch at a time. Every movement is fully disassembled, repaired, ultrasonically cleaned with L&R products, re-oiled with Möbius lubricants, regulated to three positions, and verified on a timegrapher before it leaves my bench.
It is an amazing experience to restore these timepieces...the engineering and artistry for each movement is quite extraordinary!

Pocket Watches for Sale
Aviator Watch Restoration specializes in the sale of fully restored and in many cases repaired pocket watches. Each movement has been completely torn down, repaired (if necessary), precleaned, cleaned through a 3-stage ultrasonic machine, lubricated, then adjusted/regulated to restore accuracy to the timepiece. Many movements (the watch mechanisms) have been separated from their cases, however, I source and restore cases and match them to movements for another lifetime.
